유연한 포트 파티션

FPP(유연한 포트 파티션) 기술은 업계 표준의 PCI SIG SR-IOV를 활용하여 물리적 이더넷 장치를 여러 가상 장치로 효율적으로 분할하여 각 프로세스를 가상 기능에 할당하고 대역폭을 공평하게 공유할 수 있게 해 주는 QoS(서비스 품질)를 제공합니다.

가상 머신 장치 큐(VMDq)

VMDq(가상 머신 장치 큐)는 VMM(가상 머신 모니터)에서 수행되는 몇 가지 전환 작업이 이 기능을 수행하도록 특별히 설계된 네트워킹 하드웨어로 오프로드하도록 제작된 기술입니다. VMDq는 VMM에서 I/O 전환 작업과 관련된 오버헤드를 대폭 줄이면서 처리량 및 전반적인 시스템 성능을 크게 개선하는 역할을 합니다.

PCI-SIG* SR-IOV 지원

SR-IOV(단일 루트 입/출력 가상화)를 구현하면 기본적으로 단일 I/O 리소스를 여러 가상 시스템이 공유하게 됩니다. SR-IOV에서는 별도의 여러 물리적 장치에 단일 루트 기능(예: 단일 이더넷 포트)을 표시할 수 있습니다.

iWARP/RDMA

iWARP는 이더넷을 통한 RDMA(Remote Direct Memory Access) 방법으로 지연 시간이 적은 컨버전스형 패브릭 서비스를 데이터 센터에 제공합니다. 지연 시간을 줄여주는 iWARP의 주요 기술로는 커널 바이패스(Kernel Bypass), DDP(Direct Data Placement), 전송 가속화(Transport Acceleration)가 있습니다.
