フレキシブル・ポート・パーティショニング

フレキシブル・ポート・パーティショニング (FPP) テクノロジーは、業界標準の PCI SIG SR-IOV を使用して物理的なイーサネット・デバイスを複数の仮想デバイスに効率的に分割し、各プロセスを仮想機能に割り当てて帯域幅を公正に分配することでサービス品質を確保します。

仮想マシンデバイスキュー (VMDq)

バーチャル・マシン・デバイス・キュー (VMDq) は、VMM (バーチャル・マシン・モニター) で行われる切り替えの一部を、この機能用に特別に設計されたネットワーク・ハードウェアに移すように設計されたテクノロジーです。VMDq は、VMM での I/O 切り替えに関連するオーバーヘッドを劇的に低減します。これにより、スループットと全体的なシステム・パフォーマンスが大幅に改善されます。

PCI-SIG* SR-IOV 対応

シングルルート I/O 仮想化 (SR-IOV) には、本来 (直接的に) 複数の仮想マシン間で 1 つの I/O リソースを共有する機能が備わっています。SR-IOV は、シングルルート機能 (例えば 1 つのイーサネット・ポート) が複数の個別の物理デバイスとして見えるメカニズムを提供します。

IWARP/RDMA

iWARP は、イーサネットを介したリモート・ダイレクト・メモリー・アクセス (RDMA) により、データセンターに統合された、低レイテンシーのファブリック・サービスを提供します。低レイテンシーを提供する主要な iWARP コンポーネントとして、Kernel Bypass、Direct Data Placement、および Transport Acceleration があります。

インテル® データダイレクト I/O テクノロジー

インテル® データ・ダイレクト I/O (DDIO) テクノロジーは、I/O デバイスからのデータ配信とデータ消費に対する I/O データ処理効率を改善するプラットフォーム・テクノロジーです。インテル DDIO によってインテル® サーバーアダプターやコントローラーは、迂回せずにシステムメモリー経由でプロセッサー・キャッシュと直接通信するため、レイテンシーの削減、システム I/O 帯域幅の拡張、および電力消費の削減が実現されます。
