BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Description:
Jasper Forest is the codename for 45nm processors with one, two, or four cores based on Intel microarchitecture codename Nehalem for the embedded and storage segments and will have SKUs supporting the higher Tcase values needed to support NEBS and other thermal certifications. Jasper Forest will include integrated PCI Express 2.0 ports, non-transparent bridging, RAID 5 and 6 and connect to the Intel 3420 chipset. Jasper Forest is planned for production in 1Q’10.
